All the furnishings have been removed from the floor and either stored on the platform in the East, in the kitchen area or, in the case of the large pews, in a truck parked conveniently just outside the door.
No sooner had the room been emptied when the flooring crew showed up to remove the carpet and layout and mark the area for the mosaic pavement tile. They certainly wasted no time in getting right to work!
By the middle of the day on Thursday, May 26th, things were really beginning to take shape as you can see in these next photos. The end of the day saw completion of a major part of the project; the mosaic pavement!
